Please help out at our Fishing Show on March 23, 2024. Any club member can volunteer for one of the tasks below. We need help for the following:
- Setup/Breakdown: Arrange tables, chairs, etc. on Fri 3/22 and put things away on Sat. 3/23 under direction of ???????
- Kitchen: Serve food under direction of Mike Toole and Bobbie Viel
- Door Attendants: Take admission money and direct people under direction of John Liss
- Membership Assistant: Help register new members under direction of Peter Novello
- Video/Photo Assistant: Take pictures during show and help record talks under direction of Kathy Strauch
- Runners/Spotters: Be available as a general Go-Fer to deal with last minute tasks as issues arise, under direction of Georgette Henrich
- Food Donation: Bring a batch of something suitable for serving for lunch. Please coordinate with Mike Toole so he knows what is coming and is able to set a price and list it on the menu.
Click on the “View & sign up” link below to submit your name. Your task director will contact you about when and how you can help out. You will generally be asked to work for 2 hours of the day.
Remember that all talks will be recorded and available on the website, so you will not miss a chance to hear all our speakers.
Bait Shop Membership Drive

Larry Craig left a legacy with the club that will last forever. One thing he created was our bait and tackle shop membership drives where he and other volunteers would sit and talk to prospective members about our club and what we have to offer. We want to continue that tradition.
We need 2-3 volunteers who can spare 3-4 hours on a Saturday helping out at either Surfland or Bridge B&T recruiting new members. All you have to bring is a comfortable chair, a cool drink and your enthusiasm. The club will provide materials for sign ups. Here are the proposed places, dates and times:
Refuge Parking Lot #1 June 21st 10-1p.m.
Surfland B&T July 12th 9-12 p.m.
Bridge B&T July 26th 9-12 p.m.
Surfland B&T August 9th 9-12 p.m.
Bridge B&T August 23rd 9-12 p.m.
