Plum Island Surfcasters

Legislation Page

The Plum Island Surfcasters are a group of avid striped bass fishermen who ply the shores from Maine to Rhode Island in search of striped bass and other species of fish that inhabit these waters. We are also very concerned with the environment and we keep a keen eye on the politics that involved with the marine environment and the management of the species.

On this page you will find information on developments on the political front and issues concerning the management of the state fisheries. Tim Brooks, recently awarded a life membership for his continued efforts and contributions to the Plum Island Surfcasters, is now our voice in these matters serving the club as the legislation liason. We are honored to have Tim in this role and he will keep us informed of all the issues that affect the Plum Island Surfcasters and all fishermen throughout the region
